Everything about the Freemotion harness 5.0 gathered in one place!

Features

Padded neck - Extra padding around the neck make the Freemotion harness 5.0 comfortable for your dog, as well as being more stable when pulling.

Adjustable - The length and depth of the Freemotion harness 5.0 is adjustable to fit most dogs. This pullilng harness is available in sizes for both small and big dogs.

Refelctive loop - 3M™ reflective piping and a reflective loop provide visibility. The reflective loop also allows you to see how your dog is moving in the dark. A safety light (not included) can be attached to the loop for extra visibility. A leash must not be directly attached to the reflective loop. This will not hold the dog and may result in product failure.

Materials - All materials are carefully chosen for optimum durability, functionality and comfort.

Replaceable parts - To extend the life cycle of your Freemotion harness 5.0, parts exposed to wear and tear are replaceable. Spare parts are available in our web shop. The harness comes with static aide straps as a standard. From size 4 and up, these can be replaced with elastic side straps.

Size indicators - A colored tab indicates which size your Freemotion harness 5.0 is, making it easy to see if you have many harnesses. The size chart shows which size your color corresponds to.

FAQ

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STATIC AND ELASTIC SIDE STRAPS?

The Freemotion harness 5.0 comes with static side straps as a standard. From size 4 and up, these can be replaced with elastic side straps. Elastic side straps give your dog a few more centimeters of movement for each stride. Because of this, elite athletes doing canicross, bikejoring and skijoring often prefer to use elastic side straps. The elastic straps are made for racing, and are less durable than the static straps.

WHICH SPARE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FREEMOTION HARNESS 5.0?

We want you to have your harness for many years. Therefore parts that are exposed to wear and tear are available for purchase. You can find the spare parts in this section on our website. You can watch how to change the side straps in this video.

WHICH KNOT IS USED ON THE BACK PIECE, AND HOW DO I TIE IT?

The knot at the rope on the back piece is called a Fisherman’s knot. Tighten the knots before using the Freemotion harness 5.0 for the first time.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FREEMOTION HARNESS 5.0 AND THE PREVIOUS MODEL?

The main difference is the padded neck and optimized fit. A reflective loop* has been added at the top of your dog’s neck. We have also improved the materials for better durability and comfort, and chosen to stitch the ends of the adjustable back piece to prevent it from sliding. The colored straps that indicate size have changed to smaller, colored tabs. We have chosen stitched logos rather than silicone on the Freemotion harness 5.0, as it is a more sustainable choice.

*A leash must not be directly attached to the reflective loop. This will not hold the dog and may result in product failure.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FREEMOTION HARNESS 5.0 AND THE COMBINED HARNESS?

The Combined harness is a pulling harness with the exact same design and function as the Freemotion harness but with additional attachment points for a pulk. The Combined harness also comes with an optional girth strap that will prevent your dog from sliding out of the harness.
